
From 10 to 23 July, 1,2 thousand students from 25 countries are planning to take part in the Summer University-2023 federal project. This year the event will be held at the sites of three universities participating in the Russian Ministry of Education and Science's Priority 2030 program: UrFU, SFU and KFU.
An important task of the Summer University-2023 is to introduce foreign students to the current scientific and educational agenda of the Russian Federation, to promote the creation and development of international student communities.
The participants of the Summer University-2023 will be students from Russia, neighborhood countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, and Georgia) and far abroad countries (Algeria, Egypt, Cuba, Syria, Turkey, Brazil, Vietnam, India, Colombia, Serbia, Bangladesh, Jordan, China, Mongolia and Ecuador).
The educational program of the Summer University-2023 includes the following tracks: natural sciences, engineering, socioeconomics, and humanities. The additional program aimed at mutual cultural exchange between the participants consists of excursions, quests, festivals and much more.
Participation in the Summer University-2023 project is free of charge.

Last year more than 700 students from 9 countries took part in Summer University-2022 project. For the first time, the project was implemented in 2021 in the format of a large-scale educational project of the Federal State.
The Summer University-2023 federal project is organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
