The university has prepared eight educational tracks delivered in both Russian and English. The programs cover a wide range of fields, from social sciences, humanities, and law to economics, management, information technologies, and nuclear technologies.
A special focus will be placed on project-based learning and collaboration with industry partners. Participants will take part in expert-led workshops, meetings with professionals, and practical project work in international teams.
One of the key partners of the program is Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, together with the Obninsk Institute for Nuclear Power Engineering, a branch of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. This partnership will provide participants with an opportunity to explore advanced technologies and promising developments in the nuclear industry.
In addition to the academic program, students will enjoy a rich cultural and excursion program. Participants will discover Yekaterinburg, one of Russia’s leading educational, scientific, and industrial centers, and visit some of the most notable sites in the Sverdlovsk Region.
UrFU is hosting Summer University for the fourth consecutive time. Over the years, the university has established itself as a platform for international academic dialogue, where students from different countries gain new knowledge, exchange experiences, and learn more about the Russian higher education system.
Since 2025, Summer University has been implemented as part of the national project Youth and Children, which aims to create favorable conditions for young people by providing opportunities for education, professional development, and scientific careers.
