06 July 2026

Siberian Federal university, along with other leading Russian universities, is hosting guests from all over the world for the sixth time. This year, the event will take place from July 6 to 19, 2026.

For the next two weeks, the campus will be home to students from 19 countries: Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, Vietnam, Egypt, Israel, India, Kazakhstan, China, Cuba, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Chile, Ecuador, and Russia.

"On behalf of the Governor and the Government of the Krasnoyarsk territory, I welcome you to the Krasnoyarsk land, the geographical center of Russia. International students from 69 countries study in our region, and young people are increasingly choosing the Krasnoyarsk territory to obtain their education. We hope that more participants of the 'Summer university' will also choose to continue their education here," welcomed the participants Oksana Tsareva, head of the external relations department of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk territory.

At SFU, the educational block consists of 8 programs within the following fields: management, tourism, metallurgy, Russian philology, digital technologies, mathematics, psychology, and pedagogy. The educational program was designed with great dedication, involving representatives of the academic community of Krasnoyarsk. The lecturers and class leaders are experts from local higher education institutions and star lecturers of SFU. A special part of the program has been prepared for international attendees from Brazil, Malaysia, Chile, Ecuador, and other countries: a visiting professor from Pakistan will deliver a lecture series in English dedicated to the intricacies of global entrepreneurship.

"Welcome to SFU — a university that is becoming a venue for many international and all-Russian events, and our students are the best students in Russia. We hope that you will not only gain new knowledge but also preserve valuable contacts and connections beyond this project," emphasized Ekaterina Sidorenko, vice-rector for youth policy at SFU.

The program combines an academic block with intensive project activity. Working in international teams, participants will develop solutions based on real cases from industrial partners. At SFU, the partners of the "Summer university" are Rosatom, RusHydro, and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Consulting.
