
From July 6 to 19, Siberian Federal University will host the participants of the large-scale international educational project "Summer university-2026" for the sixth time. The organizers received over 4,000 applications. Based on the results of the competitive selection, 430 of the best students will begin their studies: 100 representatives from Russia and 330 guests from abroad. At SFU, participants will be offered educational programs developed with the participation of seven specialized institutes of the university:
• Global entrepreneurship in real and virtual space: business security management;
• Accelerator of entrepreneurial competencies: startup launch and development;
• Business English for professional purposes of specialists from the real sector of the economy (English-language program);
• Designing innovative solutions in tourism and hospitality;
• Digital transformation in the mining and metallurgical sector;
• Russian language and literature in a cultural context;
• Mathematics in the modern world;
• Psycho-pedagogical technologies for supporting the educational process in a transforming world;
• Computer technologies for text analysis in solving social and humanitarian problems.
The key partners of the "Summer university-2026" will be Rosatom, RusHydro, Rusal, and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Consulting. Representatives of the business community have directly influenced the program content, setting a practical direction for the project-based approach. The main practical element of the program will be a hackathon, where students will be able to apply their acquired knowledge in real-world conditions. Representatives of the industrial partners will act as mentors: they will help the teams develop managerial thinking and hone professional skills, from analytics and diagnostics to forecasting. In addition to intensive studies, a rich excursion program awaits the guests. Participants will visit the famous Stolby National Park, see one of the largest Russian hydroelectric power stations, and explore the cultural landmarks of the region, including the Assumption Monastery, which reflects the spiritual and social values of the Siberian people.
